By no means is this a sad post, its just to inform all of you that despite having 2 chapters in wrath 2 already it comes with a heavy heart that will we moving Wrath 2 and Future Projects over to The Unreal Engine. Why you Say? Ok, so I’m not gonna say anything mean here nor i gonna throw anything under the bus. But In the end Unity was not the best place for my Projects reason being is, i hope u all understand these are just based on opinions and my experience not facts. So i wont get into it all but short story is and what really got me to decide to move to unreal is, after the fact that i was really struggling to get the nav mesh to work for the baddies in chapter 2, getting bullets to fire the right way for the gun in the Halloween chapter and Chapter 2, also the fact that i was getting stressed out when trying to code something for my game and it two bout a week to get one script working for one to another. But the big one that really threw me through a loop was which to this day is the coding, to be honest, im not good at coding yeah i know some things to code, but yeah the coding part is the part that got to me the most. It was to the point where already time i got on unity i was stressed all the time and i was always hard on me by saying “oh i didnt anything done” when clearly i did. I know its mental thing. But thats how much i was stressed using Unity. Again not throwing Unity under the buss all good things. I guess what im saying is, Unity even though Unity was good at first over the last 3 and half to 4 years of Progress. Will i Miss Unity? Honestly yes and no, The Yes part being It was the second 3d Engine i used and i got alot done in it. The no which is the big part, all the stress and all the headaches i got from it. Yeah Unity you were a good start for me and i appreciate it but in the end, i just feel like In my opinion not facts, Unity is and was meant for People who know what they are doing. Again Unity thank u for the Fangtastic Start 🙂 . Gonna Give Credit Where credit is due. But Going Forward now Wrath 2 will be rebuild and redone in Unreal Engine . Don’t Worry I saved all the maps. I was smart enough to get the Maps. Also Side Note, BluePrints in Unreal have been very nice cause im not stressing over nothing. Even though i havnt problem Solve and trouble for why something not working but i usaully solve it in 20min to an Hour. Not Bragging. But BluePrints and Unreal Engine have been the Answer. Future projects such as Legend of the Vampire Queen Episode 2 and Wrath of the Vampire Queen Episode 2 and Projects coming will be in the Unreal Engine. So Thank you for Reading and Understanding. I know i didn’t give all the reasons on why i moved to Unreal Engine but i felt like the reasons i gave were enough.
Love u all
